Getting started | Batting gloves

A comfortable grip from the first innings.

Start with gloves that let young hands move freely while keeping the bat secure. These selected options make it easier to find the right fit.

Check the fit

Measure using the size guide. The fingers should feel comfortable and the palm should lie flat when gripping a bat, without bunching or slipping.

Choose the batting hand

Select right-hand or left-hand batting gloves to match the player’s batting stance, rather than the hand they write with.

Try the grip

Close both hands around a bat handle. Check that the fingers bend easily and the wrist fastening holds the gloves securely.
