The Aero P3 Chest Protector V2 adds a second protective disc over the heart area, strengthening one of the most important impact zones for a young batter facing short-pitched bowling.

Built specifically for junior and youth cricket, the P3 is Aero’s standard-level chest protector and is rated for ball speeds up to 110kph. It’s aimed at developing batters who are starting to face quicker bowling and want proper chest and rib protection without wearing something bulky that gets in the way of their batting.

Segmented protective panelling covers the chest and ribs while allowing the protector to move with the torso, and vertical mobility creases help it flex as you get into position, sway, duck or rotate through a shot. The V2 upgrade places a second protective disc layer over the heart area for increased impact protection compared with the original P3. Aero’s sling-style support holds the guard securely against the body so it’s less likely to shift during an innings, while the extremely lightweight, low-profile construction helps preserve the freedom of movement junior batters need when learning to deal with the short ball. The materials are also washable for easier care through a full season.
