When you’re standing back to genuine pace, every clean take still sends force through the keeping glove and into the hands. Aero P1 KPR Inner Hand Protectors add a dedicated protective layer underneath the outer glove, rated for ball speeds up to 160kph without sacrificing the finger movement a keeper needs.

They’re Aero’s elite-level keeping inners, aimed at serious club, premier and representative keepers dealing with higher ball speeds and heavy workloads behind the stumps. The extra protection becomes particularly valuable through long spells, where repeated takes into the palm and fingers can build up quickly.

Additional padding is positioned to improve impact protection while maintaining the close, flexible fit needed inside a wicket keeping glove. Silicone fingertips add purchase through the fingers, while ergonomic stitching follows the working shape of the hand so you can close naturally around the ball rather than fighting excess material. Breathable mesh helps move heat away during long innings, and the construction is built for the repeated flexing, catching and abrasion that keeping inners take through a season. The result is a more technical alternative to a basic cotton inner, combining impact management with the feel and dexterity needed to take edges cleanly, gather down the leg side and transfer quickly back to the stumps.

Key Features:

  • Elite P1 protection level rated by Aero for cricket ball speeds up to 160kph.
  • Additional padding reduces the impact transferred through the outer keeping glove during repeated takes from fast bowling.
  • Silicone fingertips provide extra purchase while maintaining the finger control needed to secure the ball cleanly.
  • Ergonomic stitching and a flexible fit allow the hand to close naturally around the ball for cleaner takes and quicker transfers.
  • Breathable mesh manages heat inside the keeping glove, with durable construction suited to heavy training and match use.
