An ambidextrous shape makes the GM Rival Batting Pads an easy option for developing cricketers who want reliable protection without worrying about a right or left-handed pad.

They're aimed at beginners, school players and improving club cricketers making the move into regular hard-ball cricket.

The durable PVC leather facing covers traditional cotton-and-cane protection, with dual-layer foam and fibre reinforcing the knee. A foam and cotton knee locator supports alignment, while a low-density vertical bolster and one-piece interior bolster cushion the leg. One wide strap and two narrow straps secure the pad, and the PVC instep is built to withstand repeated wear. Approximate weight is 1.90kg per pair.
