Reading the ball out of the hand is one thing. Picking the turn, flight and variation of a quality spinner is another. The Merlyn by BOLA Spin Bowling Machine gives batters the chance to face a full range of spin deliveries with the consistency and control needed to develop genuine confidence against spin.

Developed by BOLA in conjunction with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Merlyn was created to help first-class cricketers prepare for top-level spin bowling. It's an exceptional training tool for professional programmes, cricket academies and serious players looking to sharpen their footwork, shot selection and ability to read the turning ball.

Merlyn can reproduce leg-breaks, off-breaks, top-spinners and arm balls, with adjustable line, speed, flight, topspin and sidespin. Its easy-to-use control panel allows coaches to fine-tune each delivery and programme complete overs with different variations. That means batters can practise everything from getting forward to a flighted off-break to playing late against a leg-spinner turning the ball away. The machine can also simulate drift and turn, creating more realistic challenges than conventional bowling machine practice.

Key Features:

Specialist spin bowling system produces leg-breaks, off-breaks, top-spinners and arm balls to develop all-round batting against spin.
